Construction to start June 18 on bridge on WIS 35 in Douglas County

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Northwest Region in Superior is announcing that bridge work is beginning on June 18, 2009 on WIS 35 between Dairyland and Superior Road, south of the village of Superior in Douglas County.

Crews will be resurfacing the deck of the bridge located in that area. Crews will be doing the work one lane at a time, keeping one lane open to traffic. Temporary signals will guide motorists through the work zone.

The project is scheduled for completion by the middle of August.
