Lane restriction planned on I-94 in St. Croix County night of June 22
June 22, 2009
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation will be closing portions of the east and westbound lanes of I-94 between Hudson and Hammond beginning at 2 a.m. Tuesday, June 23, as part of a “ rolling roadblock”.
The lanes will be closed while contractors install new overhead electrical lines located about one mile west of WIS 65. In addition, the westbound entrance ramp at WIS 65 (Exit #10) and the eastbound entrance ramp of US 12/County U (Exit #4) will be closed for a few minutes while the rolling roadblock passes the ramp.
All utility work, rolling roadblock and ramp closures are expected to be completed by 4 a.m.
Motorists travelling in the area should anticipate slowed or stopped traffic while the utility work is being done.
