WIS 13 improvements in Adams County to begin July 27 - information meeting July 23

Construction is scheduled to begin on 3.4 miles of WIS 13 between Moundview Drive and WIS 21 north of Adams-Friendship in Adams County Monday, July 27.

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is conducting a construction information meeting to discuss the planned improvements on Thursday, July 23, from 5 to 6 p.m. in the Village of Friendship Hall, 507 West Lake Street. A brief presentation will begin at 5 p.m. Property owners and other interested parties are encouraged to attend.

DL Gasser Construction is the prime contractor for the project. Construction is scheduled to begin July 27 and is scheduled for completion by the end of August 2009. Crews will repave the highway with new asphalt.

WIS 13 will remain open to two-way traffic. Motorists may encounter single lane closures with flagging operations.
