WIS 153 bridge closure scheduled for July 31

Motorists detoured until bridge reopens August 4

Crews plan to close WIS 153 - between Business 51 and Second Street in the city of Mosinee - at 5 a.m. on Friday, July 31.

The closure is necessary for deck pour operations. During the closure, traffic will be detoured via I-39, WIS 34, Marathon County C and County O.

Crews plan to reopen the bridge the morning of Tuesday, August 4.

While the bridge is closed, crews will also be repairing pavement joints on WIS 153 in the city of Mosinee. Crews will close sections of WIS 153 - between Pine Street and Water Street - from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, July 31 to Tuesday, August 4.

The schedule is approximate and dependent on favorable weather conditions and construction status.
