US 10/Portage County A westbound on ramp improvements, closures planned starting Aug. 10

August 6, 2009

Motorists will be detoured

Crews plan to close the Portage County A on ramp to westbound US 10 in the village of Amherst on Monday, August 10.

The closure is necessary for crews to install antiskid treatments to the on ramp bridge over the Tomorrow River.

While the on ramp is closed, traffic will be detoured via Portage County KK and County B. The ramp is expected to reopen before the end of the day on Thursday, August 13.

Motorists will also encounter a lane closure on westbound US 10 at Portage County A.

The dates and times of the closures are dependent on favorable weather conditions and are subject to change.
