Lane Closure on Business 51 (Post Road) in Portage County September 1 - 3

Crews plan to close the southbound right lane of Business 51 (Post Road) at the Portage County HH/McDill Avenue intersection in the village of Whiting, beginning 6 a.m. Tuesday, September 1.

The closure is necessary for crews to make utility adjustments and perform maintenance repairs in the southbound lane. Motorists may encounter delays.

The work is scheduled for completion by the end of the day on Thursday, September 3.

Motorists are asked to stay alert for slow or stopped traffic, heavy equipment, and crews working on or near the roadway. To avoid potential delays, motorists may want to use alternate routes.

The schedule is dependent on favorable weather conditions and is subject to change.
