Public Meeting Sept. 9 for WIS 60 in Ozaukee County

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Southeast Region in Waukesha is announcing a public information meeting to discuss the proposed improvements to WIS 60 from WIS 181 to 1st Avenue in Ozaukee County. The meeting will be held in the Council Chamber of the town of Cedarburg Town Hall located at 1293 Washington Avenue, on Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2009 from 6 to 8 p.m.

Representatives from WisDOT and the consulting engineering firm, Short Elliott Hendrickson (SEH), will be available to discuss the proposed improvements. Improvements will include construction of turn lanes and traffic signals at the Keup Road intersection and the resurfacing of WIS 60 from WIS 181 to 1st Avenue.

The meeting will be an informal opportunity for the public to review the project and exchange information with the project representatives. Displays will be available for review and comment.

Please call at least three working days prior to the meeting to make arrangements.
