State Suspends Driver Training School

September 3, 2009

Various violations resulted in a temporary suspension

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation’s (WisDOT) Division of Motor Vehicles suspended the license of an Oshkosh area driver training school. Destination Driving School, 525 W. 20 th Avenue, was suspended for repeated failures to comply with WisDOT information requests and for failing to pay its debts within a specified time frame. The four-month period of suspension begins once the school has complied with all WisDOT requirements and meets all driver training school eligibility requirements.

Students currently enrolled in driver education at Destination Driving School, which also has locations in Winneconne, Berlin, Appleton and Chilton, are encouraged to contact other local driver training schools to continue their education. DMV notified area driving schools regarding the Destination Driving School suspension and asked for assistance with enrolling students for the remainder of their driver education needs. Requests for any refunds of driver education fees should be directed toward Destination Driving School.
