Construction beginning Sept. 8 on WIS 76 in Winnebago County

Park and ride and new intersection planned

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Northeast Region in Green Bay is announcing construction starting on WIS 76 in Winnebago County beginning Monday, Sept. 8, 2009. No significant traffic impact is anticipated with this work.

The project includes construction of a park and ride at the northwest corner of US 41 and WIS 76 and an intersection at Green Valley Road and WIS 76. Cost is estimated at $2.2 million and work should be completed by the end of September.

The contractor for the project is Northeast Asphalt, Inc., Greenville, WI.

Motorists are advised to use caution and remain alert when driving through this or any work zone.
