US 12 safety project in Sauk County scheduled to begin Sept. 14

A safety enhancement project on US 12, Sauk County, is scheduled to begin Sept. 14. The project, located south of Badger Ordinance between County C and County Z, will install new guardrails and rumble strips along the shoulders. New pavement markings and signage will also be installed.

Traffic will be reduced to a single lane in each direction. Speeds will be reduced in the 2.4 mile work zone.

The project is scheduled for completion Sept. 25.
