Business 51 (Post Road) closure in Portage County scheduled to begin Monday, Sept. 14

Business 51, between WIS 54/Portage County B and Porter Road/Tommy’s Turnpike, is scheduled to close to through traffic beginning Monday, Sept. 14. The closure is necessary so village of Plover crews can repair water valves located under the roadway.

During the closure, through traffic will be detoured via Portage County HH, I-39 and Portage County B. The road will remain open to local traffic but motorists can expect to encounter periodic closures and limited access.

The work is scheduled for completion by the end of the day, Friday, Sept. 25.

The work requires favorable weather conditions and is subject to change.
