Public meeting regarding US 12/County A intersection in Walworth County Sept. 29

Proposed improvements at the US 12 and County A intersection, Walworth County, will be discussed at a Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) public information meeting on Sept. 29, 2009. The meeting will be held from 6 - 8 p.m. at Tibbets Elementary School, W5218 County Road A, Elkhorn.

A brief presentation is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. The meeting will follow an “open house” format; visitors may arrive and depart at their convenience.

A variety of exhibits and maps will be featured at the meeting and representatives from WisDOT will be available to discuss the project and answer questions. The public is encouraged to attend to examine the proposed improvements and discuss any concerns they might have.

Citizens who are deaf or hard of hearing and who require an interpreter may request one by contacting Bill Strobel at least three working days prior to the meeting via the Wisconsin Telecommunications Relay system (dialing 711).
