WIS 29 lane closures in Shawano County Sept. 28-29

Motorists can expect to encounter lane closures on WIS 29 between WIS 49 and Shawano County Q near Wittenberg; and between Shawano County M and Shawano County K near Shawano, beginning Monday, Sept. 28, 2009.

The lane closures are necessary so crews can complete bridge maintenance work.

Work is scheduled for completion by the end of the day Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2009.

Motorists can expect to encounter periodic delays between the hours of 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. Motorists should also be alert for slow moving vehicles, heavy construction equipment and turning trucks within the work zone.

To avoid any potential delays motorists may want to use alternate routes. The work requires favorable weather conditions and is subject to change.
