Public meeting Sept. 30 for WIS 65 in St. Croix County

Meeting to focus on multiple intersection improvement plans

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Northwest Region in Eau Claire is announcing a public information meeting to present preliminary design plans for improvements to WIS 65 intersections - County TT/US 12, 120th/US 12 and 130th/County G - and to gather public comments on the plan. The meeting is scheduled from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2009 at the village of Roberts Community Park Building on Park Street in Roberts.

The public is encouraged to attend the open house style meeting to learn more about the proposed project. The purpose is to complete the design of future roundabouts at the intersections along WIS 65. Construction is scheduled for 2012. WisDOT staff will be available to answer questions.
