Changes in store for Wisconsin vehicle inspection stations

Burlington and Cedarburg locations will close and hours change at other locations

Motorists in southeast Wisconsin in need of a vehicle emissions test should carefully check the hours at their local testing station before venturing out. Hours at all stations will change, and the stations at Cedarburg and Burlington will close permanently. 

Starting October 1, 2009 hours at vehicle inspection stations are:

Milwaukee North, Milwaukee South and Milwaukee Central; West Bend, Waukesha North, West Allis, Racine, Kenosha and Sheboygan:

  • Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri: 8:30 a.m.—5:30 p.m.
  • Sat: 8:00 a.m.—1:00 p.m.
  • Wed, Sun: closed

Burlington and Cedarburg: 

  • Closed permanently
