October 6, 2009

Meeting to focus on detour and access to WIS 167

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Southeast Region in Waukesha is announcing a public information meeting to discuss the preventative maintenance project on WIS 167 from WIS 145 to WIS 181 in Washington and Ozaukee counties. The meeting is scheduled from 5 - 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 14th at the Germantown Village Hall, N112 W17002 Mequon Road.

The proposed project is part of the American Rehabilitation and Recovery Act (ARRA), and includes preventive maintenance of the roadway from WIS 145 to WIS 181. Construction is tentatively set for early summer 2010.

The public is encouraged to attend the meeting, provide input and ask questions concerning this project. Maps showing the proposed improvement alternatives will be on display. WisDOT representatives will be available to discuss the project on an individual basis.
