WIS 13, WIS 153 lane closures scheduled for Oct. 9 - 23 in Marathon County

Motorists can expect to encounter flagging operations and lane closures beginning Oct. 9, 2009:

• WIS 13 between Marshfield and Spencer in Marathon County
• WIS 153 between Stratford and Mosinee in Marathon County
• WIS 153 between Mosinee and Elderon in Marathon County

The lane closures are necessary so construction crews can complete roadway maintenance. Work is scheduled for completion by the end of the day Oct. 23, 2009.

Motorists can expect to encounter periodic delays between the hours of 6 a.m. and 7 p.m. Motorists should also be alert for slow moving vehicles, heavy construction equipment and turning trucks within the work zone. To avoid any potential delays motorists may want to use alternate routes.

The work requires favorable weather conditions and is subject to change.
