WIS 54 closure in Portage County near Plover scheduled to begin Monday, Nov. 2

Railroad crossing repairs in Plover require road closure, detour

WIS 54 - between Grant Avenue and Nassau Boulevard on the west side of Plover - is scheduled to close to through traffic beginning Monday, Nov. 2, at 7 a.m.

The closure is necessary so crews can repair the railroad crossing on WIS 54, in Portage County.

During the closure, traffic will be detoured via I-39, Portage County W and County F. Motorists and commuters who normally use WIS 54 are advised to allow extra time for travel.

The work is scheduled for completion by the end of the day, Friday, Nov. 6.

The work requires favorable weather conditions and is subject to change.
