Overnight lane closures on US 41 in Winnebago County Nov. 3 - 5

Will affect southbound lanes over Lake Butte des Morts Causeway

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is announcing lane closures are tentatively scheduled for two nights on US 41 southbound over the Lake Butte des Morts Causeway beginning next week.

On Tuesday, Nov. 3, the right (driving) lane between US 45 and WIS 21 will be closed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4. The left (passing) lane between US 45 and WIS 21 will be closed from 9 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4 to 5 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 5.

The closures are necessary to move equipment up onto the median for construction of the future Lake Butte des Morts Drive overpass and for use in the expansion of the Lake Butte Des Morts Causeway.

Motorists are advised to remain alert and use caution when driving through this or any work zone.
