Motorists will be detoured

Crews plan to close the Business 51 on ramp to northbound I-39 (Rothschild) on Friday, Nov. 6 from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. The closure is necessary for crews to perform roadway maintenance.

During the closure, Business 51 motorists will be detoured via northbound Business 51 and WIS 29. Motorists may want to allow extra time for travel.

The work requires favorable weather conditions and is subject to change. If crews are unable to complete the work in one day, they will close the ramp again on Monday, Nov. 9 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Motorists are reminded to exercise caution and reduce speed when entering the work zones.
