Railroad crossing in city of Marinette to be rebuilt beginning Monday, Nov. 9

Crossing located in city of Marinette, Marinette County

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Northeast Region in Green Bay is announcing plans to reconstruct a railroad crossing in the city of Marinette. Beginning Monday, Nov. 9, the Escanaba & Lake Superior Railroad Company is reconstructing the crossing on US 41 (Marinette Avenue) in the city of Marinette.

The road will be closed at that location and a signed detour will be in effect. The detour is County T north, WIS 64 east, return to US 41.

The road is expected to reopen by the end of the day Friday, Nov. 13.
