Additional lane closures on US 41 in Winnebago County through Nov. 13

Traffic impacts over Lake Butte des Morts Causeway now planned through next week

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is announcing additional overnight lane closures are now tentatively scheduled on US 41 southbound over the Lake Butte des Morts Causeway through Friday, Nov. 13.

Last week WisDOT announced the left (passing) lane of US 41 southbound would be closed between US 45 and WIS 21 during the hours of 9 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4 to 5 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 5. This night lane closure will also take place at times next week through the morning of Friday, Nov. 13.

The closures are necessary to move equipment and materials into the median for use in the construction of the future Lake Butte des Morts Drive overpass.

Motorists are advised to remain alert and use caution when driving through this or any work zone.
