Public meeting scheduled for WIS 22 in Oconto Falls

WisDOT seeking public input concerning work planned for 2015

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation NE Region in Green Bay is announcing a public information meeting for construction on WIS 22 in Oconto Falls in 2015. The meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 18 at the city of Oconto Falls City Hall, 500 N. Chestnut Street, Oconto Falls, from 6 to 8 p.m. A short presentation is scheduled for 6:15 p.m.

The project will reconstruct approximately two miles of WIS 22 from West Highland Avenue to East Highland Avenue (N. Main Street/S. Main Street/Union Avenue/N. Chestnut Avenue). WisDOT staff will be available to discuss the project, answer questions, address concerns and obtain your input. Persons with knowledge about historic buildings, archaeological sites, septic systems, drain tiles, or drainage problems near the project are strongly encouraged to attend and discuss them with project staff.

Persons unable to attend the meeting but wanting more information should contact WisDOT Project Manager Paul Zoellner at (920) 492-0132 or email at paul.zoellner@dot.wi.gov. Written comments regarding the project can be mailed to Paul Zoellner, 944 Vanderperren Way, Green Bay, WI 54304. Citizens who are deaf or hard of hearing and require an interpreter may request one by contacting Paul Zoellner at least three working days prior to the meeting.
