June 18, 2013
Property owners, public invited to attend a construction information meeting on June 26
The resurfacing project on County P (formerly US 10) between Wood County N and County S in Milladore is currently scheduled to begin as early as Monday, July 1, 2013. The schedule is dependent on favorable weather conditions.
The public is invited to attend a construction information meeting to learn more about the planned construction activities, the construction schedule and how traffic will be managed.
The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, June 26 between 6:30 and 7:30 pm. at the Milladore Village Hall, 722 Bradley Street in Milladore. A brief presentation is scheduled to begin at 6:45 p.m. Citizens who are deaf or hard of hearing and require an interpreter may request one by contacting Jeff Stewart at least three working days prior to the meeting.
Crews will resurface one mile of County P, between County N and County S, by milling the existing pavement and overlaying it with new asphalt. Other improvements include storm sewer installation, ditch restoration, curb and gutter, sidewalk, sanitary sewer and waterman adjustments, signing and pavement marking replacement.
During construction, County P will remain open to traffic with temporary daytime lane closures and flagging operations. Motorists can expect some delays.
Construction is scheduled for completion by mid-September 2013.
