Public meeting for US 41 in Dodge County

Meeting to focus on preliminary designs for the resurfacing of US 41

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) will hold a public information meeting to discuss the preliminary design concepts for the resurfacing of US 41 in Dodge County. The meeting is scheduled from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 23 at the Lomira Municipal Building Community Room, 425 Water Street.

Project improvements include resurfacing of US 41 and grading and lengthening a number of the northbound freeway on-ramps. Consideration is being given to the construction of a salt shed near the WIS 67 interchange. Construction is currently scheduled to begin in the spring of 2015. This meeting will be the main opportunity for public comment on the resurfacing proposal.

The public is encouraged to attend the meeting, provide input and ask questions concerning this project. Maps showing the proposed improvements will be on display. WisDOT representatives will be available to discuss the project on an individual basis.
