Public meeting set for Beltline improvements, Mineral Point Road to Old Sauk

Planned improvements to US 12/14 between Mineral Point Road and Old Sauk Road, Madison, will be discussed at a public information meeting on Wednesday, July 17. The meeting will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the Mead & Hunt offices, 6501 Watts Road. A brief presentation will be given at 5:30 pm.

Auxiliary lanes are scheduled to be added to the Beltline between Mineral Point Road and Old Sauk Road in 2014. The entrance ramp for eastbound Old Sauk Road will be widened, ramp meters and a noise wall will be installed as part of the project.

The meeting will be organized in an open-house format with a variety of exhibits and maps available for review. Project staff will be available to answer questions throughout the evening. The public is encouraged to attend and share verbal or written comments about the project.
