Governor Walker announces $240,000 project at La Crosse Municipal Airport

Governor Scott Walker approved a $240,000 design project for improvements at the La Crosse Municipal Airport.
Wendy Hottenstein, airport development engineer with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT), said the project will prepare bid proposal documents for pavement repairs on the airport’s primary runway, along with roof and exterior window and door repairs to the terminal building.

✈City of La Crosse = $48,000
The project is scheduled to be completed by August 2013.
La Crosse Municipal Airport is one of 98 facilities included in the Wisconsin State Airport System Plan (SASP). It is a commercial service airport that supports regularly scheduled year-round commercial airline service, and supports general aviation activity to domestic and international destinations.
