August 14, 2013

Work set to begin Monday, August 19

As part of his efforts to create jobs and make sure Wisconsin is open for business, Governor Scott Walker has approved $655,000 to improve 2.2 miles of WIS 54 in the village of Hobart and city of Green Bay from WIS 172 to Pleasant Lane. Work begins Monday, August 19 and finishes in mid-September.

The contractor is Northeast Asphalt, Green Bay.

Work includes resurfacing the road, new beam guard and pavement marking. WIS 54 will remain open during construction, but will be reduced to a single lane with flagging operations.
