Governor Walker approves $175,000 project at Wittman Regional Airport

Governor Scott Walker today announced a $175,000 project for runway surface improvements at Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh.
Terry Ripp, airport engineering specialist with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT), said the project will seal cracks and resurface the runway pavements to extend their lifespan.
The one-week project is expected to begin in September.

- Winnebago County = $35,000
Wittman Regional Airport is one of 98 facilities included in the Wisconsin State Airport System Plan (SASP). The airport is classified as a large general aviation airport. It includes daily operations of all types of business jets and serves domestic transportation centers.
