November 1, 2013

WIS 15 public information meeting scheduled in Outagamie County

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Northeast Region in Green Bay is announcing the second public information meeting to present WisDOT’s planned improvements to WIS 15 from US 45 to Lily of the Valley Drive in Outagamie County. The meeting will be held Tuesday, November 12 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Hortonville High School, 213 East Towne Drive, Hortonville in the cafeteria. A brief presentation is scheduled at 5:05 p.m.

The meeting is being held in an open house format and the public is encouraged to attend at their convenience, provide input and ask questions concerning this project. WisDOT representatives will be available to discuss the project on an individual basis and receive comments.

Construction is planned to begin in 2018 and consists of expanding WIS 15 to a 4-lane divided highway bypassing the village of Hortonville to the north. The proposed improvements to WIS 15 are needed to improve safety and mobility. More information about the project is available at the project web page.
