New traffic signal in Eau Claire

November 1, 2013

New signal to be installed at WIS 312 (North Crossing)/US 12 (Clairemont Avenue) Interchange in Eau Claire.

A new traffic signal will be activated at the WIS 312 (North Crossing) and US 12 (Clairemont Avenue) south ramp in Eau Claire. The signal will begin normal operations late next week. A few days before, the signal will be in "flash" at the intersection. The flash mode is used to increase motorist awareness of the new signal. Motorists will encounter flashing yellow signal indications on the US 12 approaches and flashing red signal indications on the WIS 312 exit ramp approach.

This new signal will include the use of flashing yellow arrows for southbound left turning vehicles on US 12 to WIS 312 eastbound.
