I-94/WIS 65 interchange is complete in St. Croix County
November 1, 2013
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation–Northwest Region is pleased to announce that work on the I-94/WIS 65 interchange has come to an end.
"Motorists will now find a nicer driving surface, as well as a safer interchange with longer off-ramps and roundabouts to keep traffic flowing smoother at the ramp terminals," said Northwest Region Director Don Gutkowski. "We know this has been significant project in the area for the past two construction seasons and we are pleased to have all lanes of traffic open on both the interstate and WIS 65."
The $24 million contract reconstructed the I-94/WIS 65 interchange as well as two miles of I-94 from Hudson to Menomonie Road.
All barrel and traffic control/construction signs should be removed from the area by Monday, November 4.
