Public meeting scheduled for US 14 improvements in Cross Plains

Planned improvements to US 14 (Main Street) in Cross Plains will be discussed at a public information meeting on Tuesday, November 19. The meeting will be held at Glacier Creek Middle School, 2800 Military Road, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. with a brief presentation at 6 p.m.

The meeting will be organized in an open-house format with a variety of exhibits and maps available for review. Project staff will be available to answer questions throughout the evening. The public is encouraged to attend and share verbal or written comments about the project.

Work to replace the County P bridge in Cross Plains is scheduled to begin in the spring of 2014. Work on the reconstruction of US 14 between County KP and Westview Court is scheduled to begin in 2015. The project is designed to improve traffic safety and operations along the US 14 corridor through the community.
