December 11, 2013
Project planned for 2015 to improve safety
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Northeast Region in Green Bay is announcing a public involvement meeting to discuss the upcoming reconstruction of the intersection of WIS 67 and County PP/Hill and Dale Road in the city of Plymouth, Sheboygan County. The meeting will be held on Thursday, December 12 at the Plymouth Fire Station conference room, 111 Main Street, Plymouth, from 5 to 7 p.m. with a brief presentation at 5:10 p.m.
The intent of the proposed safety improvement is to increase sight distance and reduce crashes at the intersection of WIS 67 and County PP. These improvements include removing an embankment in the southwest corner of the intersection and other obstructions, and flattening the vertical curve south of the intersection. The project is planned for 2015.
The meeting will follow an informal open house format. The public is encouraged to attend, ask questions and share information concerning historic buildings and structures, archaeological sites, septic systems, drain tiles, or drainage problems near the project with the WisDOT staff. Additionally, they are encouraged to review and discuss the proposed improvements.
The fire station is wheelchair accessible. Persons who are unable to attend the meeting can make their comments by contacting the WisDOT Project Manager, Paul Brauer, at 944 Vanderperren Way, Green Bay, WI 54304; (920) 492-0135 or by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
