Update: Northbound US 41 to be closed between WIS 29 and Velp Avenue Saturday through Sunday

Closure scheduled Saturday through Sunday

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Northeast Region in Green Bay is announcing a full closure for northbound US 41 between WIS 29 and Velp Avenue starting at 8 p.m. on Saturday, January 11 and ending at 6 a.m. on Sunday, January 12 for pavement repair. The northbound US 41 on-ramp from WIS 29 will also be closed during this timeframe. The following detour for both closures will be:

  • Northbound US 41 traffic will be detoured onto Shawano Avenue east to Military Avenue, follow Military Avenue north to Velp Avenue and take Velp Avenue west to northbound US 41.

In addition, drivers can expect single lane closures on northbound US 41 between Mason Street and Velp Avenue from 5 p.m. Saturday to 8 p.m. Sunday night.

All lane restrictions and work operations are weather-dependent and subject to change.
