Public involvement meeting scheduled for WIS 16 Corridor Study
January 14, 2014
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) will hold a public involvement meeting to present the findings of the WIS 16 Corridor Study between Watertown and Oconomowoc.
The meeting will be held Wednesday, January 29 from 4 to 7 p.m. in the lower level of the Watertown City Hall, 106 Jones Street. The meeting will follow an open house format.
The study evaluated the safety and traffic operations to develop a long-range plan to manage, preserve, and extend the useful life of the WIS 16 corridor. WisDOT coordinated with local municipalities to examine transportation-related concerns along the corridor.
WisDOT will provide an overview of completed activities and the resulting findings and concepts. The results of the study will assist local communities, property owners, and businesses to make land use decisions that are compatible with the long-range plans.
