Heavy snow continues to significantly impact travel
The Wisconsin State Patrol is responding to several crashes on I-94 westbound that has forced the closure of the interstate near Osseo.
Vehicles are being re-routed off of I-94 at Osseo onto US 10 onto US 53 north. Approximately ten semis are involved and blocking lanes. One injury crash is being reported at this time. Highway crews continue to do the best they can to keep up, but motorists are being strongly encouraged to not travel unless absolutely necessary.
If you must travel, check winter road conditions before leaving home by calling 5-1-1 or visiting Wisconsin 511 online. Winter driving tips can be found on WisDOT’s web site. Traffic updates are also posted at WisDOT's 511 Twitter site.
