January 14, 2014

Motorists advised to avoid traveling unless absolutely necessary

  • Oneida County–US 51 is closed in both directions at Fernwood Road near Harshaw because of a traffic incident. The highway is detoured via Oneida County K, Lakewood Road, and Rocky Run Road. The highway is expected to remain closed for approximately four more hours.
  • Marathon County–All lanes of I-39/US 51 northbound are closed at County C near Knowlton due to multiple traffic incidents. The highway is expected to remain closed for more than two hours. Northbound traffic is being detoured via County DB, and WIS 34.
