WIS 29 lane closure, speed reduction planned near Ringle

Crews are planning to repair damaged beam guard along WIS 29, near Ringle, beginning today (March 31). Motorists can expect to encounter a single lane closure on westbound WIS 29 at Marathon County Q (Exit 181) and a speed reduction to 55 mph through the work zone.

Work is scheduled for completion before the end of the day on Tuesday, April 1. The schedule is subject to change based on favorable weather conditions and construction status.

Motorists are reminded to drive with caution in work zones and should be alert for slow moving vehicles. For more information regarding traffic impacts in the North Central Region:
