Governor Scott Walker today announced a $361,489 project to design and construct a terminal
building in a new development area at Merrill Municipal Airport.

- State = $17,370
- City of Merrill = $17,371
- Federal Aviation Administration = $326,748
The project is expected to start in May and be completed by fall 2014.
Merrill Municipal Airport is one of 98 facilities included in the Wisconsin State Airport System Plan, which makes it eligible for state and federal funding. Airport improvement projects are administered through WisDOT’s Bureau of Aeronautics.
