Annual bridge inspections scheduled in Brown/Winnebago counties

Motorists should anticipate traffic backups

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Northeast Region in Green Bay is announcing a series of bridge inspections for April 7 through April 11. These are routine bridge inspections, but will result in some traffic impacts.

Monday, April 7

  • Walnut Street Bridge (WIS 29) in Green Bay, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. – lane closures

Tuesday, April 8

  • Mason Street bridge (WIS 54) in Green Bay, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. – lane closures
  • Walnut Street Bridge (WIS 29) in Green Bay, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. – lane closures

Wednesday, April 9

  • WIS 116. bridge in Winneconne, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. – one lane open with flagging operations

Thursday,  April 10

  • Congress Avenue bridge (WIS 21) in Oshkosh, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. – one lane open with flagging operations

Motorists should anticipate traffic back-ups, use caution and remain alert when driving through these or any work zones.
