Reminder: Public meeting tomorrow for large section of US 41

Noise walls, construction at Oneida and Lombardi intersections, Glory to 9th to be discussed
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) NE Region in Green Bay is sending a reminder that a public meeting is being held tomorrow to provide a construction update and road closure information for US 41 from Glory Road to 9th Street in Brown County. The public involvement meeting will be tomorrow, Tuesday, April 8 from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the US 41 Brown County Project office located at 1940 W. Mason Street, Green Bay. A short presentation is scheduled for 4:45 p.m.
The primary purpose of this meeting is to discuss traffic impacts, intersection construction, and the latest design plans for the US 41 Project’s south segment. The meeting will also give an update regarding planned noise barriers along the US 41 mainline to mitigate noise for those living along the corridor.
This meeting will highlight the following areas along US 41:
- Oneida Street/Aube Lane Interchange
- Bridge updates for Hansen, Cormier and Parkview Road and Morris Avenue
- Wisconsin 172 ramps
- Mainline US 41 from Glory Road to 9th Street
The public is encouraged to attend the meeting, ask questions and offer comments. The meeting will be held in an open house format and project staff will be available to discuss the projects on an individual basis.
