Governor Walker approves WIS 310 improvements in Two Rivers

As part of his efforts to create jobs and make sure Wisconsin is open for business, Governor Scott Walker recently approved $1.6 million to improve a one-mile stretch of WIS 310 in Two Rivers. Construction is scheduled to begin Monday, April 11 (weather-dependent).
Kruczek Construction is the prime contractor.
Work includes concrete overlay on .75 miles of WIS 310 from Columbus Street to 14th Street and reconstructing a quarter-mile of WIS 310 from 14th Street and Hawthorne Avenue to 14th Street (WIS 310) and Madison Street. Specific site work also includes sanitary sewer, curb and gutter, watermain and storm sewer replacement. The work is expected to be completed by the end of September. Project benefits include updated water and sanitary lines, better driving environment and new sidewalks.
The project is closed to through traffic from Columbus Street to Madison Street as of Monday, April 11. The posted detour is WIS 310 to Columbus Street to Memorial Drive (WIS 42). Local and emergency access to adjacent properties will be maintained during construction.
Motorists are advised to use caution and remain alert when driving through this or any work zone.
