Public meeting for I-94/WIS 128 interchange improvements in St. Croix County

May 6, 2014

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation Northwest Region in Eau Claire will be holding a public involvement meeting to discuss preliminary plans for making improvements to the I-94/WIS 128 interchange between Woodville and Knapp. The meeting is scheduled from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 21, at the Baldwin Ag Center, 1960 8th Avenue, Baldwin.

The project consists of reconstructing WIS 128 within a half mile of the interchange and will include replacing the WIS 128 bridge over I -94. A park and ride facility is also part of this project. Construction is expected to begin spring of 2016 and be completed in the fall of 2016.

The public is encouraged to attend the meeting, provide input and ask questions concerning this project. Exhibits showing the plan concepts will be on display. Project representatives will be available to discuss the project on an individual basis.

Citizens who are unable to attend the meeting, or would like more information, can contact Project Manager Stacie Lambele at (715) 833-5569. Written comments regarding the project can be mailed to Stacie Lambele at 718 W. Clairemont Avenue, Eau Claire, WI 54701. Citizens who are deaf or hard of hearing and require an interpreter may request one by contacting Stacie at least three working days prior to the meeting.

A public hearing may be requested by individuals to whom the proposed project is of significant concern by submitting a written request to the above address. However, contacting the WisDOT Project Manager first is highly recommended.
