I-39 southbound lane closures, speed limit reduction tomorrow in Marathon County

May 13, 2014

Motorists can expect to encounter single lane closures on southbound I-39 between WIS 29 and Kowalski Road tomorrow (May 14) from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. The lane closures are necessary for pavement marking operations. While lanes are closed the speed limit at that location will be reduced to 55 mph.

Motorists may encounter delays during peak travel times and should remain alert for slow moving vehicles.

Work is scheduled for completion by the end of the day, May 14. The schedule is subject to change based on weather conditions.
