5-day ramp closure at the I-43/US 41 interchange extended into tomorrow evening

May 13, 2014

Weather delays tub girder erections

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Northeast Region in Green Bay is announcing that the northbound US 41 to southbound I-43 loop ramp at the I-43/US 41 interchange in Brown County will now re-open at 7 p.m. tomorrow, Wednesday, May 14. The ramp was originally scheduled to re-open at 5 a.m. tomorrow. A 5-day closure of the ramp was required to erect tub girders for the I-43/US 41 flyover ramps. The recent bout of wet weather has caused delays to girder erections over the existing ramp.

All lane restrictions and work operations are weather-dependent and subject to change.
