Local stakeholder meeting scheduled for Hart Road improvements, Beloit

Alternate route improvements related to I-39/90 Expansion Project

A local stakeholder meeting will occur on Wednesday, July 16 to present information and gather public input on the Hart Road alternate route project, which extends from County S (Shopiere Road) to I-43 near Beloit. The meeting will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the Turtle Town Hall, located at 6916 S. County Road J, Beloit, WI 53511. A brief formal presentation will be held at 5:15 p.m.

The meeting will present planned roadway and structure improvements along Hart Road, including an update on potential right of way impacts. Maps showing the proposed improvement alternatives will be on display. WisDOT representatives will be available to discuss the project on an individual basis.

These proposed improvements are part of the major reconstruction and expansion of I-39/90 from the Illinois state line to the US 12/18 interchange near Madison. For information about the I-39/90 Expansion Project, visit the project website, and follow the project on Facebook.

Citizens who are deaf or hard of hearing and require an interpreter may request one by contacting Steve Marshall at least three working days prior to the meeting.
