Construction update meetings scheduled for US 41/Lineville interchange

60-day closure and 2014 construction activities outlined

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) NE Region in Green Bay is announcing a public meeting and a business meeting have been scheduled for a construction update on US 41 and Lineville Road. The public meeting will be held Wednesday, July 16, at the US 41 Brown County project office, 1940 W. Mason Street, Green Bay from 4:30 to 6 p.m. A short presentation is scheduled for 4:45 p.m. The meeting for businesses impacted by the construction will be held earlier the same day, Wednesday, July 16, from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m.

The meeting will outline the US 41 Project construction at Lineville Road and the 60-day CLOSURE planned for the Lineville interchange in August. This meeting will also provide information on:

  • Status of 2014 construction activities and construction schedule at Lineville
  • Road closures and alternate route options
  • Temporary business opportunities for businesses during construction

WisDOT representatives will be available to discuss the project and address any questions or concerns. Interested parties are encouraged to attend, ask questions and/or provide comments.

Citizens who are unable to attend the meeting, or would like more information, may contact Eric Gwidt, US 41 project manager, at (920) 492-7373. Written comments regarding the project can be mailed to Eric Gwidt, US 41 Project Office, 1940 W. Mason Street, Green Bay, WI 54303 or emailed to Citizens who are deaf or hard of hearing and who require an interpreter may request one by contacting Eric Gwidt at least three working days prior to the meeting.
