WIS 13 chip seal project scheduled in Douglas County

July 7, 2014

Lane closures expected on WIS 13 from Engdahl Road to Walsh

The Douglas County Highway Department will be doing a chip seal project beginning Wednesday, July 16. The initial application of chips should be completed in one day with sweeping the following day. Application of a fog seal and permanent pavement markings will follow 10 to 14 days after, depending on weather.

Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction as crews direct traffic through the work zone with stop and go signs. Drivers should plan accordingly. A posted detour will not be provided, but motorists are encouraged to use an alternative route to avoid delays.

If you have questions regarding the project, contact the Douglas County Highway Department at (715) 374-2611.
