Michigan Street Bridge inspection scheduled in Sturgeon Bay

Motorists should plan on finding alternate routes

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Northeast Region in Green Bay is announcing a two-day bridge inspection for the Michigan Street Bridge in Sturgeon Bay, Door County on Monday, July 14 and Tuesday, July 15. This is a routine bridge inspection, but will result in some traffic impacts.

The bridge will be closed to vehicle and pedestrian traffic from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days. The bridge will remain open to marine navigation. The inspection schedule is weather-dependent.

Motorists should plan on seeking an alternate route during these times.
